Position SummaryPerform and record two‑dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations, consult with providers, and evaluate patient data. Complete patient intakes, answer imaging questions, and collaborate on additional imaging needs.
- Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams and collects patient history.
- Consults with imaging providers and determines if additional images are required.
- Recommends additional images or imaging referrals when appropriate.
Expected hourly pay: $39.13 – $51.21 (base pay may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity).
Weekend Differential: $2.50
Sign‑On Bonus: $4,000
Vacation: 24 hours of vacation and holiday time available day 1 for candidates with 5+ years of direct experience.
Qualifications Required- Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with ARDMS or CCI.
- One ARDMS or CCI specialization (Abdomen, Breast, Fetal Echocardiography, Obstetrics/Gynecology, or RVT) as required by OSF.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft software proficiency).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Detail oriented.
- Previous clinical experience to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and gain patient care knowledge.
