Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable High School Chemistry Instructor to join our team and teach Regular, Honors, and AP Chemistry courses. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make science come alive for students in grades 9–12.

• Deliver engaging and rigorous Chemistry lessons aligned with Regular, Honors, and AP Chemistry standards
• Support students with varying academic levels through hands-on experiments, clear explanations, and personalized support
• Develop or adapt lesson plans and lab experiences to ensure deep understanding and real-world application
• Prepare students for AP Chemistry exams using College Board guidelines
• Maintain a positive, safe, and curiosity-driven learning environment
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on progress and areas of improvement
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to ensure academic excellence and student success

• Bachelor’s degree or currently studying Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of high school-level Chemistry curriculum, including AP content
• Experience teaching high school students; AP-level teaching experience is a major plus
• Enthusiastic, student-centered, and adaptable instructional style
• Ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear and relatable way
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Availability to teach weekday afternoons and/or weekends
