  Base salary range from $62,100 to $102,300, commensurate with experience.
• Housing/Living Allowance: $1,000 per month.

• Eligibility for Florida certification is required.
• Florida certification in Elementary Education (Grades K-6) is a prerequisite for teaching in this field.
• Out-of-State Certification:
  If you hold an unexpired, out-of-state professional educator certificate in this subject area, apply for Florida reciprocity.
• Elem Ed Major considerations:
  Common bachelor’s (or higher) majors for a Florida temporary educator certificate include Elementary Education 1-6, K-6, N/K-6, K-3, K-4, K-8, K-9, and Upper Elementary 4-6.
• Other Majors:
  For other degree majors, passing the FTCE Elementary Education K–6 exam is required. See FTCE testing details at the Florida testing website.
