The Promotional Greeter is the initial contact with guests. The primary role is to market the Key West Cooking Show (KWCS) demonstration, bar area, and special events venue, and to promote services offered to a targeted customer base. Promotional Greeters perform in a public relations capacity to generate foot traffic while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering authentic service.

• Greet everyone with a smile and prompt service, extend courtesy, friendliness, and hospitality as they arrive and depart the venue.
• Anticipate guest needs.
• Know all areas of the property to assist in directing guests to restrooms, smoking section, concessions, merchandise, and nearest security when needed.
• Handle questions and requests with patience and kindness.
• Answer questions accurately and politely.

• Ability to work independently over long periods of time and in groups within the scope of established rules and regulations.
• Ability to display a positive, energetic, and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests.
• Strong communication and listening skills; excellent speaking, reading, and writing.
• Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
• Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

• Must pass pre‑employment background check and substance abuse testing.
• Have a passion for helping people and making their Key West experience memorable.
