Travel Medical Technologist / MLS ASCP (Nights – Weekend Track) – Key West, FL

Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights, Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year

Licensure & Certifications (Required at Submission):

• Active Florida Laboratory License

• ASCP Generalist Certification

• BLS Certification

• Blood Bank experience required

Position Overview:
The Medical Technologist performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of disease states. This role follows standardized laboratory procedures and ensures accuracy, reliability, and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and analyze diagnostic tests on patient specimens

• Prepare and process samples for testing

• Review results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits

• Perform blood bank testing and procedures

• Maintain compliance with laboratory standards and protocols

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field required

• Certified Medical Technologist (ASCP)
