The Travel Medical Technologist performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to support physicians in diagnosing and monitoring disease states. This role follows standardized procedures to prepare and analyze samples for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. The technologist must be detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to operate independently with limited supervision. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, ASCP generalist certification, and blood bank experience.

Qualifications- Florida Medical Technologist license (active at submission)
- ASCP Generalist certification
- Blood bank experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Familiarity with standard laboratory practices, procedures, and safety protocols
- AHCA compliance for Florida placements
- Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
- Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements
- BLS from a Vibra Travels approved vendor required. AHA preferred and required by some clients
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in high‑stress, fast‑paced environment
- Detail‑oriented and organized
- Strong critical thinking and customer service skills
- Current, valid, and active license/certification to practice as a Med Tech in the state of employment required.
- Current BLScertification from a Vibra Travels‑approved vendor required.
- AHA preferred and required by some clients.
