American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/LDRP Days position requiring prior travel and L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby experience.

• LDRP unit providing care across antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases
• Day shift schedule, 7a-7p
• 13-week assignment
• Flexible floating to other units as facility needs require

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• AHCA required for FL placement
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification required
• PALS certification required, can be obtained within 30 days of start if needed
• AWHONN certification preferred, can be completed onsite
• 2+ years of recent experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration

• Provide shift accountability for Obstetrical care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
