Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)

Key West, FL | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

• Provide nursing care across the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Float to other units as facility needs require

• Active RN licensure (Florida license or eligibility required; AHCA compliance required for Florida placements)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and/or Mother/Baby care
• Minimum 2 years of prior travel nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• PALS certification required (may be obtained within 30 days of start if not currently held)

• AWHONN certification preferred; opportunity to complete onsite if not yet obtained
• Experience floating across multiple obstetrical or women's health units
• Familiarity with LDRP combined-care models
