Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)

Key West, FL | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care for Labor and Delivery patients
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff, and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Float to other units as facility needs require

• Active RN license;
  Florida license or eligibility required
• AHCA compliance required for Florida placement
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and/or Mother/Baby care
• Minimum 2 years of prior travel nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• PALS required — may be obtained within 30 days of start date if not currently held

• AWHONN certification preferred; opportunity to complete onsite if not currently held
• Experience floating across multiple obstetrical and women's health units
• Familiarity with care settings encompassing L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby
