Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)

Key West, FL | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff, and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Float to other units as facility needs require
• Hold shift accountability for the safety and quality of care delivered to Labor and Delivery patients

• Active RN license (Florida license or eligibility required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and/or Mother-Baby care
• Minimum 2 years of prior travel nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• PALS certification required (may be obtained within 30 days of start if not currently held)
• AHCA compliance required for Florida placements

• AWHONN certification preferred (opportunity to complete onsite if not yet obtained)
• Experience floating across multiple obstetrical care units
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a travel nursing environment
