Retail Scan Associate (Key West, FL 33040)

Permanent part‑time role. Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve product and retailer sales performance.

Typical day includes

• Using a mobile app to scan product barcodes in display areas and main stocking locations.
• Reporting to selected stores on time.
• Completing display scanning that can take several hours each week.
• Performing custom projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours for some weeks.
• Providing quantity for approximately 45% of scanned products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑store data collection at assigned retailers weekly for 52 weeks.
• Ensure accurate and timely data submission.
• Maintain independence and flexibility in schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stay on feet for long periods; lift up to 25 lbs.; reach 6 ft.; bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, legs.
• Attention to detail; work independently; deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi; tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
