This is a PART‑TIME opportunity - Night Shift, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and must be able to work weekends. Pay: $25.37 per hour plus H.W. $5.25 and a $1.00 shift differential.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Provide access control to the controlled facility.
- Conduct personnel and package inspections as authorized by law and as described in applicable General and Post Orders.
- Operate a variety of equipment including X‑ray machines, mantraps/portals, walk‑through metal detectors (WRMD) or hand wands.
- Pay Rate: $25.37 per hour
- Must be U.S. citizen (pursuant to a government contract).
- Armed officers must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be a high school or GED graduate.
- Ability to effectively interact with the general public, DoD personnel and all ranks of military, civilians and visitors.
- Must be able to work alone for a minimum of 3 hours while continuing to monitor personnel and provide exit screening.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding English to effectively carry out rules, orders, instructions, and training materials.
- Strong written English skills to compose short paragraphs and reports.
- Eligibility for and issue of a DoD Contractor Common Access Card (CAC).
- Pass a pre‑employment background investigation.
- Pass an annual physical examination.
- Pass random drug screening.
- Obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; may be considered for TS/SCI.
- Must be able to work weekends and during the night shift mentioned above.
