- Up to 50% of revenue from evaluations
- 1‑Day Evaluation: $350 (remote) / $425 (in‑person)
- 2‑Day Evaluation: $742 (in‑person)
The Vocational Evaluator performs comprehensive assessments using interviews, formal psychometric tests, and work site observations. The goal is to produce a professional clinical report recommending vocational and/or educational options while addressing potential employment barriers.
Essential Functions- Conduct a range of assessments such as interest inventories, academic achievement tests, and IQ evaluations.
- Coordinate and perform work site evaluations.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining assessment methods, observations, and recommendations.
- Perform additional related tasks as directed.
- Education: Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE) or Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling preferred; holders of a valid CRC, PVE, ICVE, or ABVE may be considered without experience.
- Experience: One year of full‑time documented experience conducting evaluations with individuals with disabilities. Experience with CARF and/or APD standards is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish/English, Creole/English) is a plus.
- Computer
Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Word, paper‑ and computer‑based assessment administration, and telehealth platforms such as MS Teams. Familiarity with other conferencing platforms is required. - Pass a Level 2 background check.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license; auto registration and insurance (50k property/100k personal injury) required.
- A passion for working with individuals with disabilities.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- Local travel required.
- Office environment.
