Airport Ramp Agent - EYW

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday A.M. shift, P.M. shift

• Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft.
• Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, and/or destruction.
• Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts safely.
• Operate pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
• Receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required.
• Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft; prepare related records.
• Operate and/or drive motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers; or manually push and pull carts and containers.
• Complete paperwork and forms related to work assignments and enter data into the company's information system.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of skills and experience.

• Must be a local (in-state) resident.
• Valid In-State Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass a background check up to 10 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Complete ramp and SIDA training for airport security .
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull items of 70 pounds regularly and lift weights of 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cramped or high places.
• Ability to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1+ year of relevant experience.
