- Coordinate the statutory reporting process and support year-end financial reporting for all UK trading entities
- Prepare and review extended trial balances (ETBs)
- Prepare financial statements and audit requirements to ensure timely submission of statutory financial statements
- Lead preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements for all UK entities in compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 101 and Companies Act requirements
- Lead development, governance and continuous improvement of Workiva
- Provide information to external auditors for ETB and statutory financial statement reviews
- Liaise with third-party tax providers and Group Tax teams regarding tax balances
- Liaise with the Company Secretary to ensure approval, signature and filing with Companies House
- Coordinate with Genpact, Legal, Tax and Group Finance teams on statutory disclosures
- Improve balance sheet integrity by resolving historic issues, reconciling differences and strengthening documentation
- Implement process improvements across the finance function
- Support newly acquired entities with year-end alignment to the group
- Perform ad hoc project work as directed by the Financial Controller
- Collaborate with Financial Controllers, Group Finance, Global Business Services, Tax, Legal, Company Secretary, external auditors and outsourced finance providers
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Ideally trained within a Top 10 or mid-tier audit practice, with experience of external audit and statutory reporting
- Experience preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements for multiple entities
- Experience working with international teams / businesses
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent technical accounting skills and thorough understanding of IFRS / FRS 101 / UK GAAP
- Comfortable working in an international environment with senior stakeholders
- Top level MS Office skills
- Prior experience in Workiva (desirable)
- Experience of Oracle (desirable)
Demonstrates expertise in statutory financial reporting, compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 101, and Companies Act requirements, and effective collaboration with international teams and senior stakeholders. Proficient in preparing financial statements, managing audits, and implementing process improvements within the finance function.
