Infrastructure Engineer III - Microsoft

Responsibilities

• Applies technical knowledge and problem‑solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, focusing on improving data and systems running at scale, and ensuring end‑to‑end monitoring of applications.
• Resolves most nuances and determines the appropriate escalation path.
• Executes conventional approaches to build or break down technical problems.
• Drives the daily activities supporting the standard capacity‑process applications.
• Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation status.
• Considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications.
• Is accountable for making significant decisions for a project involving multiple technologies and applications.
• Designs, implements, and maintains resilient collaboration solutions that support secure external sharing and cross‑organizational workflows.
• Manages identity and access configurations for external users, including Entra  (Azure AD B2B), OAuth 2.0 flows, and conditional access policies.
• Evaluates and onboard new SaaS collaboration tools (e.g., VDRs, client portals) in line with security and compliance requirements.
• Conducts root‑cause analysis and implements fixes for recurring issues to improve platform reliability.

• Strong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments.
• Strong knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell).
• Experience with multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
• Drive to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge.
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • Slack / Slack Enterprise Grid
  • Google Workspace / Google Identity
  • Microsoft 365 B2B collaboration and external sharing
  • Virtual Data Rooms (e.g., , Intralinks, Datasite, Debt domain)
  • OAuth 2.0 and secure authentication practices

• BS/BA degree with 4+ years of experience in SaaS collaboration platforms and enterprise IT.
