About the TeamBath & North East Somerset Council is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Senior Cleaner at our state‑of‑the‑art Keynsham Recycling Hub, located on Pixash Lane. This modern facility, opened just 18 months ago, is a cornerstone of our commitment to sustainability and excellence.
Role SummarySenior Cleaner – working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 16:00–18:00. Approximately 80% of the role is hands‑on cleaning, with leadership and light administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and support the cleaning team.
- Order and manage cleaning materials.
- Maintain cleanliness across offices, kitchens, public areas, and multiple toilet facilities.
- Clean stairwells, vacuum/mop floors, and dust edges and ledges.
- Ensure a courteous and professional approach with all building users.
- A passion for cleaning and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks.
- Friendly, polite, and respectful attitude.
