Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting our senior accountants with daily financial tasks and maintaining accurate records. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in accounting.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
• Update and maintain accounting databases and records
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Prepare tax returns and assist with audits
• Handle general accounting duties as assigned by senior accountants

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Previous experience in an accounting role preferred but not required
• Familiarity with accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient in MS Office suite

Salary: $1100 per month
