Indian Executive Chef

As an Indian Executive Chef in Khasab, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality culinary experiences for our guests. Your main duties will include creating and updating menus, managing food costs, training and supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining sanitation standards. You must have a passion for creating delicious Indian dishes while also adhering to food safety regulations.

• Develop menus that showcase authentic Indian flavors while also meeting dietary restrictions
• Monitor food costs and make adjustments to maintain profitability
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies are available
• Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in Indian cooking
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel setting
• In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and traditional cooking methods
• Ability to manage food costs while maintaining high-quality standards
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for cleanliness in a commercial kitchen environment
• Creative mindset with a passion for developing new dishes or twists on traditional favorites
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Must be an Indian national currently residing in Khasab with own visa
