Executive Chef

We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Khasab, Oman. As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.

• Create and design menus that meet the standards of the resort and appeal to our diverse clientele
• Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen expenses to maintain profitability
• Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Collaborate with management on special events and menu planning
• Maintain relationships with local suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or resort setting
• Excellent knowledge of international cuisine, culinary techniques, and flavor profiles
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
• Creativity in menu design and a passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or 8 years as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or resort setting
• Proficiency in English is preferred but not required

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.

Our company offers temporary housing for employees during their contract period.
