Tamimi Commercial is seeking an Accountant to manage accounts payable operations in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role involves receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, posting transactions to the ERP system, reconciling accounts, corresponding with vendors, and ensuring VAT compliance. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Receive, process, and verify invoices related to accounts payable.

Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records in the ERP system.

Set invoices up for payment and prepare electronic transfers and payments.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and correspond with vendors.

Generate monthly reports, prepare analysis of accounts, and assist with month-end closing.

Provide supporting documentation for audits and ensure VAT compliance.

Continually improve the payment process and perform any tasks assigned by management.

The ideal candidate for this Accountant vacancy in Khobar must meet the following criteria:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Good knowledge of accounting policies and standards.
