Gulf Makers is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, manage financial transactions, and contribute to reliable financial reporting. The position requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and practical experience with Odoo ERP.

The Accountant will be responsible for general ledger accounting, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoice verification, and payment processing. Experience with Odoo ERP’s accounting and financial modules is mandatory, along with the ability to support monthly and annual financial closing activities.

Candidates with approximately five years of accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with Saudi VAT requirements and ZATCA regulations are encouraged to apply. • Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with accounting procedures.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile account balances.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Verify invoices, payments, expenses, and supporting financial documentation.
• Use Odoo ERP accounting and financial modules to process and maintain transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and support internal reporting requirements.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and accounting records.
• Support expense management and payment processing.
• Assist with compliance-related accounting activities, including Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements where applicable.
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize financial data and support accounting analysis.
• Identify discrepancies and help resolve accounting and reconciliation issues.

• Approximately five years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Mandatory practical working knowledge of Odoo ERP, including its accounting and financial modules.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Practical experience in bank reconciliations and financial record maintenance.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and reconcile account balances.
• Familiarity with monthly and annual closing activities.
• Knowledge of invoicing, payment processing, expense management, and financial documentation.
• Familiarity with Saudi VAT requirements and ZATCA regulations is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.

Starting Salary: SAR 4,500 per month, depending on experience.
