We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning: Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Site Management: Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and construction teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Quality Control: Monitor construction processes and conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and design specifications.
- Resource Management: Manage materials, equipment, and labor resources effectively to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
- Risk Management: Identify potential construction challenges and develop mitigation strategies to address issues proactively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate record-keeping of project progress, including daily logs, reports, and change orders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale residential or hospitality projects.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. - Project Management: Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Communication
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience with luxury residential and hospitality projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building certifications.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or similar certification.
