Position: Safety Inspector - (Saudi National)

Job Description

Parsons are looking for Safety Inspector - Saudi National to be part of our team. The Safety Inspector will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures during night shifts on a construction project. The role involves monitoring site activities, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Conduct regular inspections of the construction site during night shifts to identify unsafe conditions, practices, or equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Proactively identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Monitor high-risk activities such as heavy equipment operation, electrical work, and elevated tasks.
  • Investigate and document any incidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions observed during the shift.
  • Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to the project management team.
  • Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for night shift workers.
  • Promote awareness of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Act as the first point of contact for emergencies during the night shift.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely response to incidents.
  • Verify that workers are using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure adherence to site-specific safety guidelines and local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
  • Submit daily safety reports to the project management team.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Inspector, preferably in construction projects.
  • OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent safety certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent observation and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and reporting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts.
  • Night shift role with working hours from 01:00 AM to 10:00 AM, including a 1-hour break.
  • Physically demanding environment requires frequent movement across the construction site.
  • Exposure to outdoor conditions and construction-related hazards.
