OverviewAs the 1st Team Performance Analyst at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will support the delivery of the club’s performance analysis process across training and matches. You will integrate video and data to provide objective performance insights, support game plan development, and contribute to live decision‑making processes aligned with the club’s game model.
Key Responsibilities Opposition Analysis- Create and deliver opposition analysis using video and data to support game plan preparation
- Provide detailed tactical analysis on opposition teams and individuals
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities linked to the club’s game model
- Ensure opposition analysis content is organised and accessible for coaching and analysis staff
- Provide tactical best practice examples to support coaching and opposition analysis workflows
- Produce training and match‑based best practice content to support pre‑match preparation
- Maintain databases linked to the game model and positional profiles for longitudinal analysis
- Ensure all game model evidence is effectively tracked and organised
- Support matchday filming operations and live video workflows
- Deliver live coding during matches and training to support post‑match review and in‑game decision‑making
- Provide live feedback and half‑time video support to coaching staff
- Support live capture and feedback processes during training and matches
- Support the wider analysis department workflows and research projects
- Contribute to individual player development analysis and player meeting preparation
- Maintain professional standards and engage in continuous professional development
- Support additional duties aligned with departmental needs
- Master’s degree in Performance Analysis or a related field
- Certification in Football Analysis (e.g. PFSA, Barça Innovation Hub, FA courses)
- UEFA coaching qualifications or formal tactical training
- Bachelor’s degree in Performance Analysis or a related field
- Advanced tactical understanding of game models, systems, and structures
- Experience working as a performance analyst within professional football
- Ability to translate complex information into clear and actionable insights
- Proficiency in video analysis tools such as Hudl, Wyscout, and Sports code
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in high‑pressure environments
- Experience producing detailed reports and presentations for coaches and players
- Fluency in English
- Experience analysing football performance data using platforms such as Impect, Skillcorner, Wyscout, and Stats Perform
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Experience leading or mentoring staff within an analysis department
- Experience working within the Middle East
- Multilingual capability
