Assistant Professor – Use of Artificial Intelligence and Educational Technologies in Education (Rank: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Lecturer)

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences seeks a full‑time faculty member to specialize in AI and emerging technology tools in education, contributing to innovative teaching, research, and curriculum development.

• Teach undergraduate courses on educational technology, AI in education, prompt engineering, and innovative teaching practices.
• Integrate AI tools and digital technologies into teaching, assessment, and curriculum design.
• Develop and update course materials aligned with program learning outcomes.
• Conduct research and publish in relevant academic journals (for Assistant/Associate Professor ranks).
• Participate in curriculum development and academic quality assurance activities.
• Supervise student projects and provide academic advising.
• Contribute to departmental, college, and university committees.
• Engage in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• PhD in Education, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI applications in education such as adaptive learning systems, learning analytics, generative AI tools, and digital assessment platforms.
• University‑level teaching experience (preferred).
• Evidence of research, scholarly activity, or professional practice in educational technology (required for Assistant/Associate Professor ranks).
• Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard or equivalent).

Include a statement of past and proposed efforts to enhance diversity and provide the contact information for at least three professional references.

For Associate or Full Professor positions, a letter of promotion from an academic institution with documented due process to the respective rank is required.
