The Deanship of CORE Curriculum offers a broad range of core academic courses to meet the specific needs of individual degree programs. All students are required to complete courses in three College CORE fields: natural and physical sciences, mathematics, and social and behavioral sciences. The CORE Curriculum aims to empower students with rational thinking and global competencies such as communication, technology, critical thinking, professional development, teamwork, and leadership.

• PhD in Communication, Education, Linguistics or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the college level (preferred).
• Procedural letter of promotion to the rank of associate and full professor.

• Maintain an appropriate scholarly or professional development activity and stay current in the field.
• Participate in comprehensive advisement of students majoring in the College.
• Represent the institution on committees and groups, contributing to the College and external organizations.
• Contribute to management and administrative processes and committee structures of School, faculty, and College.
• Lead or manage major initiatives or projects that facilitate School, faculty, or College performance and accreditation.
• Participate in recruitment, management, development, and mentoring of colleagues.
• Perform any other position‑related duties as requested by Chair, Dean, Vice President, or President.

• Carry out duties in accordance with College values, standards, policies and procedures.
• Provide world‑class education and an excellent student experience as part of a learning community.

• Contribute to school and faculty policy and practice in teaching and research.

• Provide timely feedback and assessment of coursework and examinations.
• Offer general support and guidance to students, resolving issues or referring to specialists.
