This role supports that mission by contributing expert research, securing external funding, and actively participating in strategic planning for the Deanship of Research and Graduate Studies.

• Lead the research culture in PMU, focusing on the holder’s own research activities and presenting findings at conferences worldwide.
• Seek external funding for research projects to enhance PMU’s prestige and initiate collaborations with industry, government agencies, and the community.
• Participate in the strategic planning and decision making for PMU’s Deanship of Research.

• Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Natural Sciences (Mathematics, Physics), Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Management, Chemical), Business Administration (HRM, MIS, Strategic/Organizational Management, Economics, Islamic Banking & Finance), Humanities & Social Sciences, or Computer Engineering & Science.
• Minimum 4 years post‑doctoral academic experience with a proven track record of securing funding through grants or contracts.
• Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary research teams and a high publication rate in ISI high‑impact peer‑reviewed journals, including mentoring of trainees.
• Excellent command of the English language and familiarity with technology‑infused academic environments.
• Associate/Full Professors must provide a letter of promotion from an academic institution with documented due process to the rank of Associate / Full Professor.

• High level of knowledge in the area of Mathematics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for lecturing, publishing, and collaboration.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• High commitment to research excellence.

• Lead research in one of the following areas:
  Natural Sciences (Mathematics, Physics),
  Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Management, Chemical),
  Business Administration (HRM, MIS, Strategic/Organizational Management, Economics, Islamic Banking & Finance),
  Humanities & Social Sciences/Computer Engineering & Science
  .
• Acquire in-depth expertise in leading scientific research projects and organizing interdisciplinary scholarly events.
• Collaborate with faculty and students on shared research interests.
• Teach one or two courses as needed.
• Serve as an ambassador for the Deanship of Research through publications, outreach activities, and presentations at workshops and conferences.
• Publish at least fifteen (15) ISI journal papers per year and manage selected PMU research activities, including international meetings, senior scholar visits, and scientific advisory boards.
• Write research proposals, secure external funding, and lead research teams.
• Assist in building and developing the PMU faculty team of senior scholars and facilitate international collaborations.
