Piping Engineer

The Piping Engineer plays a crucial role in the oil and gas industry, focusing on the design, installation, and maintenance of piping systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and practical experience to ensure that piping systems are efficient, safe, and compliant with industry standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality piping solutions that meet project specifications and deadlines.

• Design and analyze piping systems to ensure they meet operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections to assess the installation and maintenance of piping systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and project updates.
• Evaluate and select materials for piping systems based on project requirements.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving piping system issues during construction and operation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in piping technology.
• Participate in safety audits and ensure adherence to safety protocols on-site.

• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, FEED and EPC projects.
• Ability to coordinate with other disciplines.
• Strong understanding of international codes and standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, CAESAR II, and PDMS.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and other relevant codes and standards.
