Your Role

As a Contracts Administrator/Engineer
, you will be responsible for administering, managing, and controlling all contractual and commercial aspects of Saudi Aramco projects, ensuring full compliance with contract terms, Saudi Aramco standards, company policies, and applicable laws. The role supports project delivery by managing variations, claims, correspondence, payments, and contractual risk.

Contract Administration
  • Administer EPC / LSTK / Unit Rate / Service contracts in accordance with contract conditions and Saudi Aramco requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, scope of work, milestones, and commercial obligations.
  • Maintain contract registers, correspondence logs, variation logs, and claims records.
  • Interpret contract clauses and provide contractual advice to project teams.
  • Prepare, review, and administer Variation Orders (VOs), Change Orders, and Amendments.
  • Evaluate contractual entitlement for variations, extensions of time (EOT), and claims.
  • Prepare and review claims and counterclaims, including delay and disruption claims.
  • Support negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Review and certify interim and final payment applications.
  • Verify quantities, rates, and contractual compliance prior to payment approval.
  • Monitor contract value, variations, and final account status.
  • Assist in preparation of final accounts and contract close-out.
Subcontracts & Vendor Contracts
  • Prepare and review subcontract agreements and purchase order terms.
  • Ensure back-to-back contract alignment with main contract requirements.
  • Administer subcontractor claims, variations, and payments.
Correspondence & Documentation
  • Draft contractual correspondence, notices, and formal letters in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure timely issuance of contractual notices (EOT, claims, variations, etc.).
  • Maintain complete and auditable contract documentation in line with Aramco project controls.
  • Identify contractual risks and advise project management on mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco General Conditions of Contract (GCC), Special Conditions, and project-specific requirements.
  • Support audits and reviews by Saudi Aramco or internal management.
What We’re Looking For Experience

Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in contract administration or contract engineering.

Proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects (mandatory)

Experience with EPC contractors, PMC, or major construction companies in KSA.

Strong exposure to claims management, variations, EOTs, and final accounts.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or Construction Manager

Professional certifications (MRICS / PMP / CCM / Contract Management certifications) preferred

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco contract procedures, GCC, and project controls.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, contract management systems, and cost control tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a site-based project environment.
