We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Estimation Engineer to join our team in the construction and building sector. As an Electrical Estimation Engineer, you will analyze electrical designs, prepare cost estimates, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough analyses of electrical and MEP design documents to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, utilizing specialized software tools to enhance precision and efficiency in the estimation process.

Collaborate with project managers, marketing team and engineers to gather necessary information and clarify project scope, ensuring alignment between technical specifications and budgetary constraints.

Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, and overheads, ensuring all estimates are reflective of current market rates and industry standards.

Review and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements, fostering strong relationships with vendors.

Participate in project meetings to provide insights on cost implications and value engineering options, contributing to informed decision-making processes.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical estimation, leveraging this knowledge to enhance estimation accuracy and project outcomes.

Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender submissions, ensuring all documentation is comprehensive, clear, and professionally presented to enhance the company's competitive edge.

Monitor project progress and financial performance, providing regular updates and forecasts to management to ensure projects remain within budget and timelines.

Support the continuous improvement of estimation processes by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing effective solutions that streamline operations and improve accuracy.

Qualifications

Proficiency in electrical estimation software and tools, enabling accurate and efficient cost analysis.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex electrical designs and translate them into actionable cost estimates.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards relevant to construction projects.
