Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

Due to continued expansion and growth we now require a Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services).

• Co-ordinate with the Engineering Subcontractor for the drawings and deliverables.
• Review drawings.
• Prepare material purchase requisitions, evaluate offers submitted by vendors.
• Prepare material submittals.
• Follow up action with vendors for delivery and technical clarifications.
• Vendor drawing review and approvals.
• Assist construction team for smooth progress of work.
• Supervise a group of Electrical Engineers and CADD operators.
• Discuss with client and consult about the drawings and systems and getting approval of the drawings and materials.
• Coordinate with vendors, construction, inspection and materials group for smooth progress of the project.
• Review and approval of vendor drawings.
• Participate as required in dealing with the client or his representatives.
• Responsible for the completion of all work necessary to honour contractual obligations or other undertakings to the client in respect of final handover.

• 12 to 15 years’ experience in electrical engineering design of building services for buildings sizes up to 80,000m2.
• Preferably Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
• Capable of leading a team, and able to take initiative.
• Good communication and team working skills.
• Experience in working on projects for Middle East is an advantage, but not essential.
