We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Electrical Engineer to join our team on a high‑profile 400kV substation EPC project in Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for a Saudi National with a strong academic background in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on high‑voltage power systems or utility infrastructure. The selected candidate will be stationed on‑site during the construction phase, supporting engineering and execution activities in remote and isolated project locations.
Qualifications& Requirements
- Nationality:
Saudi (mandatory) - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - Specialization in Power Systems, High Voltage Engineering, or Utility Applications is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (technical documentation and communication)
- Willingness to work in remote site locations for extended periods during construction
- Assist in reviewing electrical designs, schematics, and single‑line diagrams for 400kV substation systems
- Support the preparation and verification of technical documentation, including specifications, datasheets, and method statements
- Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities under supervision
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of electrical equipment and materials
- Collaborate with construction teams to monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with design and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of engineering activities and contribute to progress reports
- Engage with client representatives, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical queries
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols in remote site conditions
- Basic understanding of high‑voltage equipment (GIS, transformers, circuit breakers, protection systems)
- Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, or SASO standards applicable to substation design and construction
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
