Foreman - Millwright

Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Millwright Foremen to oversee the installation, maintenance, alignment, and repair of rotating and static equipment for major Oil & Gas and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hands‑on experience, and a thorough understanding of millwright operations.

• Supervise and coordinate millwright activities at project and maintenance sites.
• Lead teams in the installation, alignment, dismantling, and maintenance of rotating and static equipment.
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, and commissioning of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and gearboxes.
• Review technical drawings, alignment reports, and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure precision alignment using dial indicators, laser alignment tools, and other specialized equipment.
• Allocate manpower, tools, and materials efficiently.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, and HSE departments.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce site safety procedures.
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, and manpower logs.
• Ensure timely completion of work within schedule and budget.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in millwright operations within Oil & Gas or heavy industrial projects.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Strong expertise in rotating equipment installation, alignment, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in laser alignment, precision measurement, and balancing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with international maintenance and installation standards.
• Strong understanding of HSE and QA/QC procedures.
