Sr. Engineer​/Dy. Construction Manager; Equipment Erection

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer / Deputy Construction Manager specializing in Equipment Erection for major Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing the installation and erection of static and rotating equipment while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.

• Lead equipment erection and installation activities for Oil & Gas projects.
• Supervise erection of static equipment, rotating equipment, vessels, columns, exchangers, and associated systems.
• Review engineering drawings, erection procedures, and method statements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, and resource allocation.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and erection crews at site.
• Conduct alignment, leveling, and installation checks.
• Resolve technical issues during erection and installation activities.
• Ensure safe lifting, rigging, and heavy equipment handling operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or Deputy Construction Manager in equipment erection.
• Strong expertise in static and rotating equipment installation.
• Experience in large-scale Oil & Gas, refinery, or petrochemical projects.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methodologies, lifting operations, and erection procedures.
• Familiarity with international codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
