Job Summary
The Test Package Reviewer is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving piping, welding, and hydrotest test packages in accordance with project specifications, industry codes, and client requirements within the oil & gas industry. The role ensures that all inspection, testing, and quality documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant prior to submission and final approval.
Roles & Responsibilities- Review piping, welding, and hydrotest test packages for completeness and compliance with project specifications and applicable codes
- Verify inspection and test records, including weld maps, NDT reports, PWHT records, and hydrotest certificates
- Ensure all quality documentation aligns with approved ITPs, drawings, and procedures
- Coordinate with QC inspectors, construction, and engineering teams to resolve documentation gaps or discrepancies
- Ensure proper traceability of materials, welds, and inspection records
- Review and confirm compliance with ASME, API, and project-specific standards
- Prepare and submit test packages to client and third-party inspectors for approval
- Support audits, inspections, and client reviews as required
- Maintain accurate records and documentation control for test packages
- Ensure adherence to project quality, HSE, and regulatory requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant discipline preferred)
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
- Proven experience as a Test Package Reviewer or QC Inspector for Piping / Welding / Hydrotest
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, welding processes, and hydrotesting procedures
- Experience working with project quality documentation and test dossiers
