Resident Engineer; E2

Job Summary

The Resident Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site project activities to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role serves as the primary technical and coordination link between the client, consultant, and contractor at site.

• Oversee day-to-day site activities and construction works
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and contract conditions
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders on technical matters
• Monitor project progress, quality, and safety performance on site
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site challenges
• Ensure timely reporting of site progress, issues, and risks
• Support testing, inspections, and handover activities

• At least 15 years of professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  or Master’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Proven experience on similar projects within the last five years
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
