Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Install, modify, and repair electrical wiring and equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery using diagnostic tools and techniques to minimize downtime.
- Perform electrical testing and calibration on various equipment to ensure accurate operation and enhance reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory to support efficient operations and compliance audits.
- Assist in developing and updating maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment lifespan and efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior technicians in electrical safety practices and troubleshooting techniques to foster a skilled workforce.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance technical knowledge.
- Participate in safety meetings and initiatives to promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement electrical systems for new projects or upgrades.
- Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in electrical engineering or industrial technology is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in an industrial setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Experience in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, or automation is advantageous for understanding industry‑specific challenges.
- Strong foundation in electrical theory and practical application, backed by real‑world experience.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus for multinational workplace environments.
- Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with diverse teams and foster collaboration.
- Physical stamina and dexterity are essential, as the role may involve heavy lifting and working in confined spaces.
