Building Inspector Engineer

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly qualified Building Inspector Engineer to oversee and ensure the structural integrity, safety, and compliance of our construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting rigorous engineering inspections across various stages of construction, verifying adherence to approved engineering designs, local building codes, and safety regulations.

• Regulatory Compliance: Perform comprehensive on-site inspections to ensure all construction works comply with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), municipal regulations, and approved structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect foundational, structural, and finishing works to identify defects, structural deviations, or non‑compliance issues, issuing corrective action reports when necessary.
• Testing Oversight: Witness and verify on-site testing of materials (e.g., concrete slump and cube tests) and building systems (e.g., piping pressure tests, electrical continuity).
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed inspection logs, photographic evidence, and progress reports. Issue official compliance certificates and sign off on project phases.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of direct experience in building inspection, construction supervision, or quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) roles.
• Mostadam Certification (Required): Must be an approved and active professional through Mostadam.sa (Sustainable Building Professional / Assessor).
• Professional Registration: Valid membership/registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

• Deep understanding of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and local municipality construction regulations.
• Sharp eye for detail with the ability to spot structural vulnerabilities or non‑compliant construction practices early.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English to effectively deliver technical feedback to both site crews and executive management.
• Proficiency in reading complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
