Head of Projects; Oil & Gas​/Power

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle from initiation through commissioning and handover
• Oversee EPC construction, maintenance, shutdown, turnaround, brownfield and greenfield projects within Oil & Gas and Power sectors
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, and budgets
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in compliance with contractual requirements
• Monitor project performance, progress and financial status, implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Manage project risks, opportunities and mitigation strategies
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, Quality, HSE and Commercial teams
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders
• Lead project review meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and profitability
• Lead, mentor and develop project managers and project teams

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial or related discipline)
• Master's Degree or MBA will be an added advantage
• PMP or equivalent Project Management certification preferred

Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in Project Management within the Oil & Gas and/or Power sectors. Experience managing EPC, Industrial Construction, Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Energy projects. Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, cost control, contract management, procurement, and project execution. Experience handling multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. GCC/Middle East experience is highly preferred.
