What ACES is Looking For?ACES is looking for a HSE to join our team in Khobar, KSA.
Job SummaryAssists the HSE Manager in the implementation of the requirements of ACES HSE Management system to ensures the safety of ACES operations and preservation of environment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Responsible for day-to-day inspections of laboratory and site operations, tools and equipment, to establish any existing/potential HSE hazards/aspects and to ensure compliance with ACES HSE procedures.
- In coordination with Department Managers prepares departments Risk and Impact registers and Project Task Risk/Impact Assessments and HSE plans as required.
- Work with the department managers to execute the HSE plans and established control measures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all ACES staff on routine basis.
- In coordination with department managers and HSE manager, performs accident/incident Investigations
- Prepare Client HSE Site Observation Close-Out Report.
- Develops HSE training program appropriate to the project.
- Performs daily toolbox meetings with ACES employees on HSE requirements and procedures.
- Immediately communicates to the HSE Manager any observations on issues with potential risk on employee's health and safety and/or environment.
- Assists the HSE manager in the development of effective Emergency Response Plans and conducting of emergency mockup drills.
- Assists HSE manager in the coordination and provision of required HSE training of employees as per the annual training program and any project specific requirements.
- Maintains up to date HSE training and HSE statistics reports.
- Coordinates with Clients’ site representatives on the proper implementation of any applicable project HSE requirements.
- Apply preventive maintenance programs for alarm, security, and protection system.
- Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.
This position will directly report to the Civil Lab Supervisor.
Job Requirements Education & Experience- University Graduate/Diploma
- Holding NEBOSH IGC, OSHA 30 Hours, and ISO 45001 certifications.
- 4 years of experience in HSE function.

45001 Awareness - ACES HSE Management system awareness
- Familiarity with HSE- related legal requirements and requirements of major clients.
- Familiarity with ACES Operations.
- Familiarity with Occupational Safety, First Aid, Radiation Safety
- Knowledge of Hazards and Aspect identification, Risk and Impact analysis, preparation of project Task Risk Assessments
- ISO
14001 and ISO
4501 Awareness - ACES HSE Management System awareness
- ACES Operations Awareness
- Occupational Safety, Fire Fighting, First Aid
- HSE major clients’ requirements (H2S, Defense Driving, Work in Confined Space, etc)
- HSE Data Analysis & Statistics
- Risk and Impact Assessment
- Root Cause Analysis
- Excellent computer skills - MS Word, MS Excel
- V. Good command in English language both written and spoken
- Driving License is an added advantage.
