Instrumentation Engineer Intern Co-Op – Job Summary
Wood is currently recruiting for an Instrumentation Engineer Intern Co-Op to work in our office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Description for Internal Candidates.
Responsibilities- Have interest in the oil, gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
- Resolve specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted engineering sense, principles, codes, and standards.
- Contribute to the technical delivery of engineering excellence through the execution of assigned scopes of work in their specific engineering discipline.
- Assist in the development of engineering deliverables including philosophies, reports, specifications, calculations, data sheets, and technical requisitions relating to specific scopes of work.
- Solve problems of a routine nature within clearly defined procedures and with ready access to support and guidance.
- Apply academic knowledge to project responsibilities under close supervision of more experienced technical professionals, performing routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring a knowledge of basic engineering standards using prescribed standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Instrumentation Engineering students.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline of engineering.
- Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context to develop engineered solutions.
- Good communication, reporting and presentation skills including the ability to converse in the English language.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated and demonstrates personal initiative.
- Possesses integrity, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and is dependable.
- Team player that works well and collaborates with supervisors, subordinates, peers and clients.
- High level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of personal daily activities.
