Job Summary

The Superintendent – Mechanical is responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical construction, installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities for Oil & Gas projects. The role ensures that mechanical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements while meeting project schedules and objectives.

• Supervise and manage mechanical construction and maintenance activities at project sites.

• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.

• Monitor project progress and ensure mechanical activities are completed as per approved schedules.

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, procedures, and technical documentation.

• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, procurement, and project teams.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards.

• Monitor workforce productivity and allocate resources effectively.

• Identify technical issues and implement corrective actions.

• Conduct inspections and verify the quality of mechanical works.

• Prepare progress reports, work plans, and project updates.

• Ensure adherence to HSE regulations and company safety policies.

• Support project completion, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

• Proven experience as Mechanical Superintendent or Mechanical Supervisor.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction, installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities.

• Experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Strong leadership, planning, and team management skills.
