Job Summary

The Planner – Construction is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling construction schedules for Oil & Gas projects. The role involves project planning, progress tracking, resource planning, schedule analysis, reporting, and coordination with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

• Develop and maintain project construction schedules using approved planning tools.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and project updates.
• Identify project delays, risks, constraints, and critical path activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and project teams to ensure schedule adherence.
• Update project schedules based on site progress and management requirements.
• Support resource planning, manpower forecasting, and productivity analysis.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules and recovery plans when required.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide planning insights to management.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion of construction activities.
• Maintain planning documentation, progress records, and reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, company procedures, and HSE standards.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience as Construction Planner.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project controls.
• Experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
