Job Summary
The Engineer – Pipe Support is responsible for the design review, installation support, inspection, and coordination of pipe support systems for Oil & Gas projects. The role ensures that pipe support activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, engineering standards, safety requirements, and client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities- Review pipe support drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
- Ensure proper installation and alignment of pipe supports as per approved designs.
- Coordinate with piping, structural, construction, and engineering teams during project execution.
- Monitor pipe support fabrication and installation activities.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support for pipe support-related issues.
- Review material requirements and support procurement activities.
- Identify design deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Support project progress monitoring and reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and quality management requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with client representatives when required.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience as a Pipe Support Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, pipe support design concepts, and installation practices.
- Ability to interpret piping drawings, isometrics, support drawings, and engineering documents.
- Experience working on EPC Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and technical analysis skills.
