Principal Engineer – Telecommunication
We’re on the lookout for an accomplished Lead Telecommunications Engineer experienced in multi‑discipline engineering teams on mainly oil & gas industry green field / brown field projects. Projects ranging from conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design to complete installations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead telecommunications system design and delivery for offshore and onshore projects.
- Develop client technical requirements into commercial design solutions.
- Create philosophies, specifications, block drawings and datasheets for all systems.
- Support development of drawings, layouts, cable routing drawings, cable schedules, interconnection & termination diagrams, telecom installation drawings, scope of works, RFQs & material requests.
- Review telecommunications vendor documentation and interface between package vendors.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco and HCIS standards.
- Minimum 15 years of experience crafting and executing comprehensive telecom and security solutions tailored for oil & gas and petrochemical projects.
- Familiarity with HCIS and Saudi Aramco standards and procedures.
- Experience with systems such as Aeronautical navigation and communications systems, CCTV, data networks, marine navaids, optical fiber, public address, general alarm, radio, satellite communications.
- RCDD and PSP certification preferred.
