- Performs demonstrations & training’s of welding equipment and consumable in the weld Tech, at the Customer site, during Open Houses or Exhibitions.
- Prepare and test all the equipment and consumable prior to the demonstration to the customer.
- Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
- Provide specification development support to distributors and end users.
- Respond to technical elements of customers inquiries.
- Listen, understand, and convey customer requirements.
- Perform technical/ product training for sales team, distributors, and end users according to the needs.
- Drive the sales development of existing and new products by training and demonstrating.
- Travel to project sites and distributor’s locations to perform demonstration, start-up, integration.
- Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
- Maintain professional business relationships.
- Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
- Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
- Assisting marketing activities from a technical perspective (Road shows, world skills, fairs, open houses etc).
- Resolve quality / services issues and ensure best customer’s experience.
- Knowledge of welding SMAW, GTAW, FCAW-GS; FCAW-SS; and GMAW.
- Commercially sound.
- Sound judgement, good business sense and structure.
