Job Description ## About the RoleBEC Arabia is seeking an accomplished
** Head of Civil Engineering - Project
** to join our Project Management team in Khobar. This pivotal role will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and BEC Arabia's commitment to engineering excellence. As a senior leader, you will manage multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality  this role, you will play a critical part in driving the success of high-profile projects for clients such as Saudi Aramco, NEOM, and the Royal Commission.

Your expertise will guide the development of innovative solutions, compliance with regulatory standards, and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies like BIM. Key Responsibilities
* ** Lead
* * the civil engineering function for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
* ** Manage
* * multidisciplinary engineering teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
* ** Develop
* * and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, utilizing tools such as
** Primavera P6
** and
** AutoCAD Civil 3D**.
* ** Ensure
* * compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) requirements, and other regulatory standards.
* ** Oversee
* * quality assurance and control processes to meet ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
* ** Coordinate
* * with clients, contractors, and government agencies to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
* ** Monitor
* * project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
* ** Implement
* * sustainability practices in line with
** Mostadam
* * and
** LEED
* * green building standards.
* ** Drive
* * the adoption of digital construction tools, including
** BIM
* * and other advanced technologies.
* ** Mentor
* * junior engineers, providing guidance and fostering professional development within the team.
* ** Ensure
* * adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety across all project sites.##

Required Qualifications
* ** Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
** or a related field from an accredited institution.
* Minimum of
** 15 years of experience
** in civil engineering, with at least
** 5 years in a leadership role**.
* Professional registration with the
** Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)**.
* Proficiency in
** Primavera P6**,
** AutoCAD Civil 3D**, and
** BIM
* * tools.
* Strong knowledge of
** Saudi Building Code (SBC)
** and other local regulations.
* Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects in the GCC region.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.##

Preferred Qualifications
* ** Master’s degree
** in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Certification in
** Project Management Professional (PMP)
** or equivalent.
* Experience with
** NEOM**,
** Saudi Aramco**, or other giga-projects.
* Expertise in
** green building standards
** such as Mostadam, LEED, or Estidama.
* Familiarity with
** ISO 14001
** environmental management systems.## Working Conditions
* Office-based role in Khobar with regular visits to project sites.
* Exposure to construction environments, requiring the use of
** PPE**.
* Regional travel within Saudi Arabia as needed.
* Standard working hours with occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
* Climate considerations include high temperatures during site visits.##
