Job Description Summary
The Early Career Training is a12-month program with the possibility of an extension for another 6 months and it is an investment in young talents where GE Vernova trains graduates who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a GE Vernova business. The ECT Control Engineer will be responsible for executing HMI (Humane Machine Interface) & MKVIe control system field activities for assigned projects, including project field tasks aligned with the services process.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support field commissioning projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards. Prepare all necessary documentation. Validate designs during customer acceptance, check document consistency, and manage evolving customer requirements. Support site organization during preparation and commissioning, ensuring adherence to Quality Procedures and work instructions. Assist site during SAT preparations and conduct validations for successful project delivery. Demonstrate EHS compliance, promote Zero Deviation Plans, and foster a safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with customers to ensure excellent service and maintain strong relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, Mechatronics, Electro-mechanical engineering or related field.
- Ability to understand and prepare design documents for automation projects.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in engineering field.
- Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Willingness to travel regionally.
- The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.
- Has the knowledge and skill to actively support an outage and be aware of where to seek answers to questions as they arise.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel.
- Ability to work under pressure;
Take ownership of onsite activities. - Willing to travel, in country and worldwide, and to work over-time.
- Familiarity with computer network systems & switches.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
