Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Senior Industrial Security Engineers to ensure proper implementation of project designs.
- Lead and guide engineers within the industrial security discipline.
- Prepare and review engineering studies, design drawings, calculations, and technical documents.
- Develop material and equipment specifications.
- Resolve industrial security engineering issues using accepted principles, codes, and standards.
- Analyze problems and identify critical factors for investigation.
- Organize and conduct technical investigations and analysis.
- Participate in developing new industrial security engineering methods.
- Provide expert advice on design processes and construction methods.
- Approve major changes in specifications, plans, work techniques, and materials.
- Determine and schedule work priorities.
- Prepare engineering proposals and cost estimates.
- Ensure implementation of quality plans.
- Provide technical guidance to team members.
- Recommend staffing solutions, training, and development opportunities.
- Organize and supervise large teams or specialized engineering groups.
- Contribute to performance evaluations and staffing recommendations.
- Ensure accountability for unit deliverables.
- Approve timesheets.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and registered as a professional engineer.
- Minimum 15 years of significant experience in oil & gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure projects.
- Recognized specialist in industrial security engineering for large to mega projects.
- Strong knowledge of industrial security engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes, standards, and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
